AI has always fascinated me, and through this course, I’ve seen just how connected it is to the fundamentals of IT.

How AI relates to what we learned:

• Hardware/OS: AI systems use GPUs and need fast, stable operating systems to process huge datasets

• Programming: Python is king in the AI world especially with tools like TensorFlow and PyTorch

• Software: AI apps like ChatGPT or Tesla Autopilot are built using layers of smart software

• Databases: AI is only as good as the data it learns from, so databases are crucial

• Networking: AI models in the cloud rely heavily on secure, fast networks

Whether it’s helping doctors diagnose patients or building smart assistants, AI is shaping our future. And it all comes back to the basics hardware, software, security, and data.
